Most material calculators give you a volume or an area and stop. That is the easy half. The number you actually need is how many bundles, boards, bags or posts to buy, and it depends on how the material is packaged, how much you will cut and throw away, and what the framing underneath takes.

Every calculator here ends with a line telling you what to order. That is the whole design.

Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, no upload, and no server doing the arithmetic — which is why the price fields are safe to use and why the site works with the network disconnected once the page has loaded.

It is a plain static site. What is in the repository is what gets served.

Landscaping and building quantities live together here on purpose, because the jobs do: a deck needs concrete for its footings, a fence needs it for the post holes, a patio needs a gravel base under the pavers. Working out one of those should not mean going somewhere else halfway through the afternoon.

Where one calculator hands off to another it says so. The fence page sends you to the concrete calculator for the post holes, and the paver ticket quotes the base gravel and bedding sand underneath rather than leaving you to work them out separately.
